Guys' Bible Study 
(Class will also be held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. -- beginning 3/15)
Need a guys' Bible study and a daily devotional guide? Get both with this ongoing group! We focus on creating a space for fellowship and connecting our faith with our daily life struggles and joys. The class is open to guys of all ages and uses the 365-day daily devotional guide, The Upper Room Disciplines 2018. Cost of book is $15.00. TED Talks
Join the class each week as a different podcast is discussed. Topics include education business, science, tech and creativity and how it relates to living as a Christian in today's world. Class is led by Stan Brown and Norman Patty and is free to everyone.

Fellowship Bible Study
The Fellowship Bible Study is a drop-in class open to all young adults and families. The group focuses on a journey through the Bible and diving into its  connection and relevance in our lives today. The class is led by Henry and June Long. or

This six- week study of the Apostles' Creed by Adam Hamilton explores not only what Christians believe but also why they believe and why it matters. The answers to many of our complicated questions are contained in the Apostles' Creed, our early statement of foundational Christian beliefs.

Centering Prayer
Centering prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer in which we experience God's presence  within us. This three-week class is for those seeking to learn this practice of prayer for the first time or for those who want to renew or strengthen their practice. Of Mess & Moxie
Every woman faces confusion, loss and missteps no matter how much she is doing right. Struggle doesn't mean that you are weak, it means that you are alive! Author Jen Hatmaker offers a six-week study full of tales. honesty and hope for the woman who has forgotten her moxie.

Holy Listening
Embrace the gift of your whole self and in doing so find unique ways to connect with God. This class invites you to listen to God through lector divina, yoga, and breath prayer. Beginners and drop ins are welcome! Bring your yoga mat or towel. Each session will last a half hour.

God Unbound
Just as the apostle Paul led the early Galatian church through a radical cultural change to expand their view of God, themselves, and the church's mission, Christians are challenged to do the same today. Author Elaine Heath urges the church to boldly follow the Holy Spirit's leadership beyond the buildings and the programs to become the church we have all imagined we can be. Six-week study.

Made for A Miracle

Be a good steward of the body God has given you! Join certified Yoga Instructor Erin Roberson as she leads a yoga class of breathing, stretching and strengthening. Erin said class starts right on time each week ... so arrive early if you can! 

KNITWITNESSES - thursdays   2:30 - 4:30 P.M.

Our weekly KnitWitnesses group knits prayer shawls, lap blankets and plarn mats every Thursday afternoon in room 120 (Parlor). 

This lively group always needs more help and would love to teach you how to

knit or make plarn 

mats if you're interested, so just stop by any Thursday! 

The prayer shawls and lap blankets are for folks dealing with health issues or loss of a loved one and the plarn mats are given to the homeless here in Birmingham, as well as sent to children in need in Africa through one of our mission partners.
