Fall classes 2018

Christian Believer
This 30 week class focuses on classic teachings of the Christian faith by presenting, explaining, and interpreting them in a way that participants can understand through the use of words, symbols, and hymns. The study manual guides daily reading in scripture and in the additional book of readings. It encourages daily prayer and weekly group discussion. The class is led by Rev. Ted Peterson and will begin on Tuesday September 4 at 6:30pm. Cost of book is $38.00.

Half Truths
In this 5 week study, author Adam Hamilton searches for the truth in several common Christian cliches including: God helps those who help themselves: everything happens for a reason; and God won't give you more than you can handle. These are simple phrases and they sound Christian- like something you might find in the Bible, yet they miss the point in important ways. Join the study in search of the whole truth by comparing common Christian sayings with the wisdom of scripture. The class is led by Rev. Ted Leach and will begin on Wednesday September 5 at 6:30pm. Cost of the book is $11.00.
